What else is happening on Photo Walk day?
The Lee's Summit Photo Walk serves the community by providing a free activity that almost anyone can enjoy. We know most of our neighbors live on tight budgets. The costs for trips to the movies and amusement parks get steep. Fees are required for almost any organized activity.
Not for the Photo Walk. Our amazing donors help keep all the fun free for everyone.
Socialize and Share
The concluding social gathering at Linger Bakery and Lounge will feature door prizes and more fun. Walkers can talk about what they've seen and photographed and share previews. We like to see the inter-generational mingling. Walk participants must be present and checked in to be eligible for door prizes.
Prizes include a gift certificate for massage from Arc Therapeutic Massage and water bottles from JG Imprinters. Goodie bags will be provided by The Travel Source, Influential Expression, The Cookie Wiz, the Henry Insurance Agency and others.
Downtown Businesses Present Their Best
This year's Photo Walk will be held during the Holiday Sneak Peek Weekend in Downtown Lee's Summit. Businesses are guaranteed to be highly photogenic! Plan to linger in Linger and other downtown businesses!
Child Identification Event Offered to All Families
A m.i.l.k. event sponsored by the Henry Insurance Agency will distribute free child identification kits from their tent in front of All A'Bloom at 5 SE 3rd Street. Any family may receive an identification kit for each child. Barb Henry and associates will provide trained fingerprinting to ensure parents have accurate means to identify their children in case of emergency.
Families can take advantage of this free service without taking part in the Photo Walk.
Relax with a Chair Massage or Foot Scrub
You don't have to participate in the photo walk to enjoy a relaxing 10 minutes! Arc Therapeutic Massage will offer free 10-minute chair massages during and after the Photo Walk inside Doherty & Sullivan's Irish Goods, 350 SE Main Street. Additional minutes will be $1.00 per minute. If your feet need pampering, foot scrubs will be offered for $5.00. What could be better after 2 hours of walking?
