How tough is the walk? Is it stroller-friendly?
The full, official route for the 2011 Lee's Summit Photo Walk covers 2 1/2 miles of mostly easy walking. Designated shortcuts show walkers pushing strollers and others with physical limitations how to bypass stairs and shorten the walk. The shortcuts ensure you still have plenty of photo-worthy sights along the way.
For energetic participants who can cover more ground in 2 hours, the map indicates detours that will enhance your experience.
For your safety, route watchers will keep an eye on key points on the walk. You will never be far from a volunteer who can communicate with emergency services, if necessary.
Walkers are required to obey all traffic laws and city ordinances.
